Board and Train with Confidence at Outrun Kennel

Boarded dogs sleep in our indoor kennel areas (8ft x 4 ft) which are furnished with toys, bowls, beds and chairs as appropriate for the dog's individual needs. Dogs are housed individually unless housemates to accommodate a special request by the owner.

Included in our boarding fees are two walks or outside play times per day, twice daily meals and chews as provided. 

Do you ever feel like you don't have time to train a puppy? 

Puppy Start Right is boarding based on positive reinforcement dog training available for puppies who are under 16 weeks of age. Your puppy boards Mon-Fri here in a home environment for 1 - 3 months and goes home for weekends. 

During this time, we work to teach basic manners, obedience skills, crate-training, house-training and socialization. 

Board and Train is available for select dog training, boarding and behaviour modification packages. All of our B&T use R+ positive reinforcement dog training philosophies and are based on up to date scientifically backed methodology.

If you travel with your Service Dog or live outside of Ontario, you may be asked to provide training documentation or proof of a Public Access test.

The purpose of this assessment is to ensure that the service dog demonstrates appropriate public behaviour, and is unobtrusive in public places. The assessment consists of 40 exercises and is modeled after the Assistance Dogs International Public Access Test and the Security Dog Validation Standards from the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
